Telling the Story - help us to help you!

I have recently been privileged to be invited to attend one of the School Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. What a fantastic illustration of the incredible activity going on daily in our schools, music centres and beyond! It set me thinking, however, as to how many people beyond the music education sector really know about all this work and, in particular, the impact that we know music has on the lives of individual children and young people and on school communities.We need to shout about this far more than we currently do and I invite you to let NAME know of particular good news stories where music has had a particular impact on an individual or a school. This will help us in building a bank of real stories that can be used to promote music education as we meet the challenges of the next 12 months. Give us a short account of your story as a comment on this blog.
