The Practical Piano Teaching Course (PPTC) A COURSE FOR ALL PIANO TEACHERS to refresh and revitalise Even the most experienced and dedicated piano teachers will benefit from a chance to absorb the latest ideas relating to their profession. The Practical Piano Teaching Course, a joint project by EPTA UK and The Purcell School, covers all of the central educational and performing issues in its two modules. The lecturers are well established music educators and concert pianists. “I’m now bursting with ideas and on such a high thanks to all I learnt over the weekend!” “The best thing I have done in my life!”Students’ comments 2009-2010 Held over three residential weekends and four study Sundays (October-June) at The Purcell School, Bushey, Herts the course benefits from outstanding facilities, easy accessibility by road and rail, and offers excellent value for money (£1,400 inclusive of all meals and accommodation). For those unable to attend the full course, six course days between February and June are open to everyone.
