Musical Bridges Online Survey

Link available from 1 September:   www.musicalbridges.org.uk

The aim of this survey is to identify issues that affect the quality of children's musical education experiences as they transfer between primary and secondary school.

The survey is part of Musical Bridges, a national three year education initiative focused on strategies to improve music education between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.  Musical Bridges is led by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Music Manifesto Partnership Group, the DfE (National Music Participation Director) and Youth Music.

The survey has four complementary strands: primary; secondary; local authorities/music services; music organisations/individual musicians.  We'd like you to tell us what works and what doesn't and where you think improvements could be made in future.  Please complete the strand that is relevant to you.   This will take between 10 and 15 minutes.

Your email address will be entered into a prize draw which will be made on October 22nd 2010.

All information received from you will be secure and confidential.  However, with your agreement, we welcome your contribution to further discussions and actions.  Survey results will be widely available at www.musicalbridges.org.uk

Thank you very much for your co-operation;  if you have any questions or comments please email them to musicalbridges@phf.org.uk     This link will be active after 1 September.
