Home Learning

In autumn 2007 NAME was awarded a contract to provide two music ‘primers’ containing useful weblinks: a) Starter for 10 and b) Home Learning. David Ashworth carried out the project between December and 2007 and February 2008.The Home Learning document was aimed at teachers and pupils involved in the Computers for Pupils (CfP) scheme, with a focus on supporting learning at home in KS3 music (but has since been found to have much wider application). The weblinks were to

• be either ‘free’ of copyright issues or ‘freely available’ to individual pupils at home
• enable both independent and collaborative study
• have a clear pedagogic and curriculum focus
