Singathlon publication

Portsmouth Music Service is delighted to have been granted the Inspire mark by the London 2012 Inspire programme for its publication 'Singathlon' - a songbook for primary children with a sporting theme. The London 2012 Inspire programme recognises innovative and exceptional projects that are directly inspired by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.Singathlon contains eighteen original songs about specific Olympic events, the songbook contains songs that celebrate sporting values such as aiming high and working hard to achieve your goals.

JAZZ EDUCATION AWARDS – NORTH & SOUTH OF THE BORDER

On 1 December, at the Royal Academy of Music, Aberdeenshire, Devon, East Renfrewshire, Lincolnshire and Southampton will be awarded Diplomas of Merit for their outstanding commitment to jazz education in 2010/11.
